How do you download smiley emoticons?

I know this sounds pretty lame, but I cant figure out how to download emoticons. Every time I try I always have to download download something else, then i can still never get the smileys.:S And sugestions?|||Have you tried right-clicking on them and selecting "save picture as" or something similar?
