How can I get back my emoticons on MSN 2011?

I added some of my own emoticons and then removed them, and then my emoticons didn't work! They wouldn't show up on my screen, but they would on the other person's. The same goes for when they send me emoticons. Help please!|||I found a program with fun emoticon, large emoticons and wikns and you can use it in your messenger or social networks.
