Can anyone plz say how to view emoticons in LG Ks360. My cell just shows the codes of emoticons?

I find it hard to understand emoticons just with the codes of emoticons. Plzzzzzz if anyone of u know how to view emoticons plzzz reply me|||there should be a choice under txting were you can change the settings
